    Solahma Technician

Mechwarrior Dante was a Clan solahma for only a short while.  Described as a
"disgrace to Clan warriors" and a "failure beyond belief" by his previous Star
Commander, Dante lived a rather miserable life.  Considered dishonorable and
unworthy, his place among his fellow solahma was only slightly higher than that
of Mechwarrior Shard.  Dante spent most of his time with his Mech, working
with its mechanical assembly and trying to understand it.
Though he once wished he were a technician, Dante eventually recognized the
thrill of battle and was grateful for his chance to fight in actual combat.  As
most Clan warriors, he dreamt of dying gloriously in battle.  His BattleMech, a
revamped Stunt Loader Industrial-Mech, was his pride and joy.  Dante
volunteered himself as the strange Mech’s pilot because its simple engineering
was easier to understand than most BattleMechs, allowing him to tinker with it
as a hobby.  Dante was considered unexperienced.  His abilities ranked almost
even with most Inner Sphere regulars.
Dante was killed during a Word of Blake attack on the Strider’s Strikers H.Q. in
3068.  He played a pivotal role in holding a canyon pass from a massive group
of Blakist attackers.  His customized Industrial Mech was quickly stripped of its
armor and knocked to the ground, but Dante was able to continue harassing his
enemies with his Gauss rifle until assault Mechs closed on him and physically
    crushed his cockpit.
