Born and raised in the Periphery, Keeley Sands grew up on the edge of known space along the outer border of the Outworlds Alliance. Keeley’s life was a hard one. She knew little
about either of her parents after they abandoned her at the age of 4. She took to the streets and grew up to be a professional thief and rather successful con artist.Keeley had the
unique opportunity of training with some of the best pilots her planet had to offer. She faked her resume and cheated on her entrance exam to successfully enter the militia’s
BattleMech academy. Keeley was a natural pilot and within 2 years she was forced to accept high honors for her performance in battlefield simulations. She later began to develop
fake weak points that she carefully plotted in order to dupe her opponents. She used her conniving talents to win her way to the top and mask her success while doing so.After
acceptance into the militia’s elite team of Mechwarriors, Keeley abandoned her responsibilities in search of a more profitable lifestyle. She quickly turned to betting on her own
matches. She eventually opted to compete on Solaris against some of the finest combatants she had encountered.
