Wheeled Vehicle Specialist
Quite possibly the luckiest man alive, "Lucky" Day has survived countless
crashes and explosions in his military career as a wheeled vehicle "specialist".
He has served under various mercenary units and Houses of the Inner Sphere,
but all of his employers have fired him after discovering his complete lack of
driving talent.
"Lucky" began his service with the Strikers just before their base on Wasat was
destroyed. When the base was actually taken over and only the Bounty Hunter
copycat remained as the enemy’s last hope, "Lucky" experienced his first crash
as a Strider’s Striker. A casual pot shot from the Bounty Hunter’s ER PPC
should have ended Day’s days, but once again "Lucky" survived.
"Lucky" seems to have no real first name, but it is actually kept secret to
protect his rather uncanny and complete ridiculous driving records. His
legendary luck held true once again during the evacuation of Strider’s Strikers
temporary base in 3068 following the firebombing of the barracks building.
"Lucky" made it to his Rotunda with several of the Strikers crew as passengers.
He narrowly avoided enemy blasts as he made his way to the nearest Dropship.
Despite all the battlefield confusion and his driving to the furthest landing site,
all of the Rotunda’s occupants arrived safely to blast off-planet in the Dropship
only moments later.
