Denouncement Trainer
A loyal Denouncement Mechwarrior since the group’s founding, Jennifer Martin
has risen in rank gradually over the years. Jennifer reached the position of
lance leader because of her aptitude for battlefield tactics – a skill she has
perfected when working with familiar terrain. She has contributed to the group
largely because she always felt herself to be part of the technicians behind the
Word of Blake. Why she feels this way seems a mystery when considering she
has never so much as lifted a wielding torch to aid in repair work.
Jennifer became fast friends with Dalek Imir after first being assigned to the
man’s company of Mechwarriors. She saw in him a natural leader, and her
admiration brought her closer to him than anyone else. The two quickly
developed a deeper relationship that led to something romantic.
Though Jennifer and Dalek formed a special bond, her obsession with
destroying and punishing her enemies has at times driven them apart. In battle
she is known for her strong will and dominating command style. Her ability to
persuade others to her own cause is incredible. She is even able to manipulate
the otherwise level-headed Dalek at times. As a good commander though, Dalek
is well aware of her special quality and is able to use this skill as an asset rather
than letting it hamper his own command style.
Jennifer has become the trainer for the reformed Denouncement group as a
result, training those who survived the Blakist betrayal. She is both respected
and feared. Though she has gained a phenomenal reputation for her dominant
command techniques, she is still seen as a commander who is easy to
approach. Her only real drawback as a trainer is her own physical fitness,
though she can easily crush any who try her patience – usually by simply
challenging them to a Mech duel.
