Explosives Expert
Krystal was once a proud warrior of the Smoke Jaguar Clan. She was captured
as Operation Bulldog plowed its way through the Jaguar occupation zone.
Rather than live with her disgrace and seeming failure, she instead chose to
escape and fight against her captors. It did not take her long to trick the
aggressive guard at her cell into a fight. She wasted no time after disposing of
him and was able to elude detection long enough to escape.
Krystal’s intense hatred of the Draconis Combine prompted her to join a radical
organization to bring her own personal fight against the House state. She
discovered the Word of Blake shortly thereafter when she met members of her
nearest sect. Playing the role of the bloodthirsty and desperate Clanner, she
attracted the sect’s attention and got them interested in using her Clan combat
skills in their own warriors’ training practice. After only months had passed,
she was trusted with teaching her own self-defense classes. It was during
these that she made contact with an explosives expert, who shared his own
trade with her in exchange for their coupling.
Krystal has lost many of her original skills, including her hand-to-hand abilities
and her physical fitness. She has replaced much of those previous abilities
with a newfound enthusiasm for explosives and sheer violence. Her drive to
hurt the Draconis Combine has pushed her to study for months on end. She
has even developed her own personal assembly line technique for
manufacturing the types of terrorist bombs typically asked of her.
Evidence has been collected hinting her bombs helped in the freeing of the
Vampire’s Fangs mercenaries in 3067. This was shortly after the Fangs team
had been captured by Strider’s Strikers and turned over to the local authorities.
Regardless of the extent of her involvement, she is considered extremely
dangerous and is among those most wanted by Miranda’s anti-terrorist force
unit. She is believed to have a genius I.Q. and is usually able to deceive her
way out of any situation.
