Black Dragons Funder

Ichirin Endo has experienced a life of cloak and dagger not unlike that of your
typical Solaris action movie.  Ichirin was born into his family’s secret sect of
ultra-conservative organizations including the Black Dragons and several of its
sub-groups.  Taught a lifetime’s worth of secrets before he’d even matured into
a man, Ichirin has a powerful array of contacts at his disposable.  Using them to
the maximum of his potential, a potential that has been developed through his
very unique upbringing, he is an incredibly deadly person to cross.
Ichirin’s history with the Draconis Combine’s yakuza and its various assassins
has given him powerful friends whose special talents can be called upon almost
instantly.  Furthermore, Ichirin has his own family’s assets at his disposable.
He has inherited his father’s elite group of bodyguard Mechwarriors.  The team
is almost completely unknown to most of society, but have a fierce reputation in
the underworld of the Draconis Combine.
Though Ichirin is a die-hard fanatic, he always attempts to keep an ace in the
hole to protect himself.  He has been fortunate in his dealings with other
criminals, and thus far has never had any of the unfortunate incidents that
often spell the end of powerful men in positions similar to his own.
Ichirin’s devotion to House Kurita and the survival of the Draconis Combine is
without equal.  He does follow the Black Dragons in their promotion of tradition
above all things, and as a result has supported the assassination attempt on
Theodore Kurita.
Despite his incredible network of intelligence gatherers and analysts, Ichirin has
failed to realize the threat the Word of Blake poses to his family’s existence and
quest.  He has found information proving the Blakists ultimate intentions, but
has so far failed to act on it.  Perhaps Ichirin is awaiting the formation of a
united Black Dragons front to counter the Blakists, or he may just be playing
his cards safely by never crossing the powerful religious sect.
Ichirin has made the elimination of Strider’s Strikers among his top priorities.
Because the team has accepted Clan Nova Cat and Steel Viper members, he
feels the entire unit should meet a cruel fate as punishment.  He has a great
amount of support in this endeavor to rid the Combine of the Strikers, and has
taken advantage of Blakist firepower at every turn he’s had.  He has used the
Blakists hatred as fuel for his own cause’s fire, and because of this he is being
investigated by almost every intelligence gathering group within the Irece
Prefecture.
