    Devout Jesuit

Marc Bevan is a devout Jesuit.  His father and mother brought him up within
this faith.  Though he questioned his religion as a teenager, he soon found
strength in it after overcoming any doubts.  Marc connected with Alec de
Payens when he was interviewed for an opening in the Crusaders.  Their shared
faith and common dislike of the Blakist presence in the Free Worlds League
instantly tied them to each other.  Marc has since gained a moderate level of
experience as a Mechwarrior, something he was altogether new to just years
    ago.
Marc has earned himself a coveted place on the team by piloting on the assault
lance.  With lancemates that carry an incredible array of firepower, Marc knows
he can count on any of his closest teammates for support in battle.  While he
also knows he is expected to fill one of the main fire support roles with his own
Mech, he sometimes lacks confidence during intense firefight conditions.
Marc benefits greatly from the Crusaders specialized weapons layouts.  His
Grand Titan has been heavily modified to dish out a maximum amount of
damage at short ranges.  This weapons platform literally places Marc as the
lance’s backbone despite his occasional problems during battle.  Commander
de Payens hopes Marc will soon adjust to his responsibilities.  By giving Marc
the largest Mech on the entire unit’s roster, Alec hopes to compensate for any
lack of experience the young pilot might feel.
